The COOPERATIVE ORGANIZATION ENDORSEMENT to the EAGLE 9® UCC COOPERATIVE INTEREST INSURANCE POLICY FOR BUYERS is available only from First American Title Insurance Company of New York. The COOPERATIVE ORGANIZATION ENDORSEMENT insures the Cooperative Corporation against actual loss or damage if any person, other than the Buyer or his or her Seller, has Rights in the Cooperative Interest being transferred to the Buyer.

Insurance for the Cooperative Corporation on the transfer of a Cooperative Interest
 
Rights of ownership are asserted by a person other than the Buyer, such as an heir or legatee of the Unit owner
Claim that the person transferring the Unit on behalf of an entity which is the Unit owner did not have the authority to do so
Transfer of a Unit to a Buyer after notice is served on the Cooperative Corporation that a judgment is being enforced against the Unit
Enforcement of a wrongfully terminated financing statement
Claim that a Transferor did not have the authority to sell a Unit due to fraud or undue influence
Ownership of allegedly lost stock and a proprietary lease is claimed by a third party after closing
Cooperative Unit is transferred without knowledge that the Seller of the Unit is in bankruptcy
Cooperative Unit is transferred without knowledge that the Seller of the Unit is in bankruptcy
 

Under the EAGLE 9® UCC COOPERATIVE INTEREST INSURANCE POLICY FOR BUYERS, First American Title Insurance Company of New York will also pay the costs, legal fees and expenses incurred by the Cooperative Corporation in the defense of the Buyers title as insured.
